STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 20-year-old Staten Island man charged with shooting a 48-year-old man from whom he planned to rent an apartment has pleaded guilty to resolve his case.

Kyle Medina, of Thompson Street in Stapleton, is accused of firing an illegal handgun at the victim on the afternoon of July 20. The man who was shot was described by police as an acquaintance.
