Shocking footage has emerged of mice running around tables and chairs at Bluewater earlier this week.

It was captured by a shopper in the food court area of the Greenhithe shopping centre on Tuesday evening (September 9).

The clips show several mice scurrying around the floor, as well as on some of the seats.

Bluewater says it “immediately” looked into the issue once it became aware of it.

It added that the area in which the rodents were seen was a closed-off seating area, which was not accessible to the public at the time.

The shopping centre says it believes the mice were present due to works taking place, and pest control has since been called in.

The person who took the footage, who did not wish to be named, said: “My reaction was that of disgust and fear.”
