The Georgia football offense didn’t meet the moment last season in its final road game of the season before a hostile environment at Ole Miss.

The No. 3 Bulldogs will get another chance in its first SEC game when it plays at No. 15 Tennessee on Saturday, Sept. 13.

It’s a place the Bulldogs have won four straight, all by at least 24 points.

Offensive tackle Monroe Freeling still remembers the frustration in the 28-10 loss to a No. 16 Ole Miss team.

“It was loud,” Freeling said. “I remember I got a false start. You’ve got to be more locked in when you’re on the road.”

Tennessee scored on a 75-yard Jaylen Wright touchdown run on the first play of the game in 2023 when Georgia last visited, but that was the only touchdown the Volunteers scored in a 38-10 Bulldogs win.
