More than 90,000 Toyota, Lexus and Subaru vehicles have been recalled for ventilation issues that could impact visibility for drivers, increasing the risk of crashing.
A recall notice was released on Sept. 5 by Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The recall includes 2023-2025 vehicles that may have faulty HVAC systems.
"An inoperative defroster and defogger system can decrease the driver's visibility under certain drivingconditions, increasing the risk of a crash," the recall states.
