Almost a year ago, Charlie Kirk offered up his take on Canadian politics during an interaction with a college student on a U.S. campus.

In a newly resurfaced video that has gone viral, Kirk, who was assassinated Wednesday by a gunman during a speech at Utah Valley University, is seen fielding a question from a scholar from Alberta who asks, “What would you do if you were Prime Minister of Canada right now?”

“I would deport Justin Trudeau the first day. That guy sucks,” Kirk started his lengthy response, before outlining what he thought was wrong with the country.
