Summer time is winding down, but the forecast for the next week or so may have Summit County residents believing the sunshine is here to stay.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 80s this weekend, with a high near 86 on Sunday and Monday. Drought-like conditions will also continue, with almost no precipitation expected in the area over the next week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Ohio River Forecast Center .
