A death investigation in DeKalb County, Alabama led to the arrest of three people on drug charges on Tuesday.

It happened on Tuesday at a home in the 100 block of Highway 75 in Higdon.

Sheriff Nick Welden says deputies were responding to a medical call from the home and arrived to find 53-year-old Kimberly Ann Little’s body inside.

Sheriff Welden says deputies drug paraphernalia was also observed in plain view, which led to drug-related death investigation.

After getting a search warrant, Sheriff Welden says Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia were found inside the home.

The investigation ultimately led to the arrest of these there people:
