CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Court documents show the Housing and Nuisance Manager for the City of Cedar Rapids is accused of committing insurance fraud.

Greg Buelow is charged with one count of Insurance Fraud - Presenting False Information and one count of Forgery. Both chares are Class D felonies.

According to a criminal complaint, Buelow is accused of knowingly providing false information to an insurance company in in connection with a pet insurance claim in June. Buelow is accused of misrepresenting medications prescribed to his dog and entered a false invoice that was purportedly issued by a vet clinic in order to collect insurance money that he was not entitled to.
