OMAHA, Neb. —

Back to feeling like summer again this weekend after a fall-like stretch to start September. Temperatures are on the way up into the weekend along with a chance for storms.

Expect highs in the mid 90s in the Omaha metro Saturday with southwest wind gusting 20 to 25 miles per hour. Temperatures will likely be in the 90s for the second half of the Nebraska game in Lincoln as well.

Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Sunday an impact weather day with storm chances going up in the late afternoon and evening. As of Friday morning, the Storm Prediction Center has most of eastern Nebraska in a marginal risk area for severe activity. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but can't rule out a few stronger storms with hail and wind potential.
