LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Temperatures will be more reminiscent of July in the Capital City on Saturday and it will certainly feel like it too.
Highs climb into the low 90s in eastern Nebraska while cloud cover and chances for rain will keep western areas cooler.
On Sunday, with the combination of a cold front, showers and storms, highs will fall into the low 70s to upper 80s.
Isolated severe storms are possible Friday evening and Saturday mainly in the panhandle. On Sunday, the risk shifts into central and eastern Nebraska. Damaging winds and large hail are the main concerns.
Unsettled conditions remain possible heading into next week. Temperatures meanwhile will fall from near 90 on Monday to the upper 70s by midweek.
