A longtime east end transportation business will soon have a shiny new facility in a prominent location along Highway 101 in order to keep up with a surging demand.
On Friday morning, a brief groundbreaking ceremony was held at the new home of Tisdale Bus Lines in South Porcupine, which included Timmins MPP George Pirie announcing $400,000 worth of provincial funding through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation(NOHFC) towards the new build.

Company president Ron Malette spoke to The Daily Press about some of the nuts and bolts of the project, which is located on a lot some locals might remember as the home of the Golden Mile restaurant.
