LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man in Old Louisville.

According to LMPD, officers responded to a call of the shooting in the 1200 block of South 3rd Street at around 6:42 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a man who had been shot. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.

After investigation, detectives learned that William Bradley Jr. had gotten into a verbal altercation with the victim. At some point during the fight, detectives say Bradley Jr. brandished a gun and shot Kenneth Adams. Adams was killed.

As the suspect fled the scene, police say he fired his weapon in the direction of four bystanders.

Bradley Jr. has been charged with murder and four counts of wanton endangerment.
