It started 15 years ago, attracting a few hundred people. Now, it attracts thousands. It starts at 10 a.m. with a ceremony at noon.

"And then that will be immediately followed by our flag parade, our traditional flag parade of all the different countries, and that's one of the highlights with all the little kids dressed up in costume and traditional wear," said Gloria Vázquez Merrick. "And then immediately following that, we have our renowned artist, Tito Puente Jr., who is the son of Tito Puente, who is a legend in Latin jazz."
