NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - MassDOT celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Knowledge Corridor's purchase and renovation in Northampton on Friday, marking a significant transportation milestone for the region.

The Knowledge Corridor is a 49-mile stretch of train tracks connecting the northern and southern borders of Massachusetts. It was purchased in 2015, and since then, three new stations have been added in Northampton, Holyoke, and Greenfield, enhancing regional connectivity.
