OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- The Oskaloosa Community School District announced late Wednesday night that it was investigating a post allegedly made by a teacher following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
On Wednesday afternoon, Kirk was hosting an event at Utah Valley University. Kirk was speaking into a handheld microphone when a single shot rang out from the roof of a nearby building. Kirk was struck by a bullet and was rushed to a local hospital, but later died. As of Thursday evening, the manhunt for the shooter continued.
