CROCKETT, Texas (KTRE) - A Houston County man accused of firing a gun into the air outside of the Houston County Sheriff’s Office has pleaded guilty to a federal gun charge.
Clifford Heniser Jr. pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person Aug. 26 in a Beaumont federal courtroom.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Christine L. Stetson issued a statement of findings and recommendation with Heniser’s guilty plea. Hensier will be sentenced at a later date.
U.S. District Judge Marcia A. Crone signed a forfeiture order, allowing prosecutors to seize any and all firearms and associated ammunition and accessories in the case, including two pistols.
