BUFFALO, N.Y. — Mandella Market in Buffalo remains closed after a video went viral showing witnesses say a woman was attacked by employees inside the store.

The family that owns the market issued a statement on Facebook, calling the incident "deeply embarrassing and disgusting" and apologizing to the woman, her family, and the community.

"All employees involved have been fired," the statement said. "New management will be put in place, and staff will now receive conflict resolution training."

The store will remain closed until further notice after city officials shut it down over compliance issues.
