West Bloomfield defensive end Jeremiah Benson took it upon himself to cut off a wave of momentum for Rochester Adams in the opening minutes of the OAA Red showdown .

The Highlanders took over deep in West Bloomfield territory for its first possession of the game following a high snap on a punt attempt, and got inside the 10-yard line within two plays.
