CLEVELAND, Ohio — When Stephen Vogt won American League Manager of the Year in his rookie season with Cleveland, it seemed like a tough act to follow. After all, the Guardians led the AL Central virtually wire-to-wire, storming all the way to the ALCS before their magical run ended.

But as the 2025 season enters its final stretch with Cleveland still battling for a wild card spot, a compelling case can be made that Vogt’s work this year has been even more impressive — despite the less gaudy win total.
