A Glasgow woman was left horrified after she came across drug paraphernalia on the city's new £29.5million bridge connecting Govan and Partick.

The local - who wishes to remain anonymous - stumbled across the grim sight on Tuesday, September 9, while out for an evening walk. She branded it "absolutely disgusting", with fellow locals left worried by the find.

In a picture shared with Glasgow Live, it is unclear if the equipment had been used however, a needle is visible, as well as a packet of aluminium foil, an inhalant, wipes, and a plastic wrapping that details how to put someone in the recovery position.
