PLEASANT GROVE, Ala. (WIAT) -- An investigation is underway after a shooting that occurred in Pleasant Grove on Saturday afternoon.

Pleasant Grove Police Chief Daniel Reid said the shooting occurred in the 300 block of Second Avenue South because of an altercation between neighbors. The suspect is in custody.

Reid said the victim was transported to a hospital and is stable.
