The defending state champion North Pole Patriots continue to stand among the state’s top flag football programs, sitting at 11-2 after a challenging midseason slate against some of Alaska’s best.

North Pole began the year with a dominant 5-0 start, including lopsided wins over Chugiak, Eagle River and Redington. Since then, the Patriots have faced tougher competition, dropping two games to Wasilla but also picking up important wins over Colony and cross-town rivals Lathrop and West Valley.

Wasilla and Colony are the only Alaska schools ranked ahead of North Pole.
