ELKHART, Ind. — Police in northern Indiana are searching for two suspects and a stolen truck in connection with a Saturday morning shooting investigation.

According to a release from the Elkhart Police Department , around 5:16 a.m. on Sept. 13, police were called to the 2300 block of West Mishawaka Road , near State Road 19 in Elkhart, on a report of a person shot.

When officers arrived, they found a 51-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. After being treated by medics at the scene, he was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, according to police.
