Iowa City, Iowa (KCRG) - It was a special night inside of Kinnick Stadium.
From the first snap to the final second, the Hawkeyes dominated both sides of the ball on Saturday night.
The Hawkeye defense held the UMass Minutemen to just 7 points and 119 yards of total offense. Meanwhile, the Hawkeye offense was firing on all cylinders, with 435 total yards.
Mark Gronowski completed 16 of 24 passes for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns, while running backs Nathan McNeil and Jaziun Patterson led the rushing attack with 56 and 54 yards, respectively.
Even special teams contributed to the scoring, with a huge 95-yard punt return by Kaden Wetjen for a Hawkeye touchdown.
