Fantasy football Week 2 is here in 2025, which means it's time to set your lineup for the slate of games coming.
We've got you covered. As we have in years past, we're giving you the starts, the sits and the sleepers for this weekend's action -- the players who get a boost by their matchup and situation, those who deserve a downgrade, and some names who could explode but who aren't highly ranked. Note that we're trying not to be Captain Obvious over here with the names (if you have Josh Allen, you're starting Josh Allen!).
So let's dive in with our Week 2 starts, sits and sleepers:
Who to start in fantasy football Week 2
- QB Justin Fields New York Jets
He looked great last week and he'll likely be playing catchup with Josh Allen and the Bills.
- RB James Conner, Arizona Cardinals
Love the matchup against the Panthers here.
- WR A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
Ignore last week's dud. They're going to feed him to make up for it.
- TE David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
I know, Harold Fannin Jr. garnered a lot of buzz after his first game of 2025. But with the Browns chasing points, Njoku may catch at TD or two.
Who to sit in fantasy football Week 2
- QB Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
I like him a ton this year, but last week spooked me. Let's give him another week before we start him.
- RB Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
You're not benching him, but expect less against that terrific Broncos D.
- WR Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions
I still think he can have huge games this year, but after last week, you have to worry.
- TE Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns
I know, we just said that Fannin feasted in Week 1. But can you start him with full confidence after just one week in your TE slot? I'd say wait.
Who is a fantasy football sleeper in Week 2
- QB Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Given the Giants' defense (until that pass rush gets going), Dak might have himself a day.
- RB Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks
This could be the week that he leapfrogs Kenneth Walker III for more work.
- WR Ricky Pearsall, San Francisco 49ers
A second straight week here. Who else is catching passes from Mac Jones against the Saints? Exactly.
- TE Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
After targets and 59 yards, we are SO back thinking he could be a fantasy factor. We'll see!
