The Seahawks were able to put together another really strong defensive performance in their Week 2 win over the Steelers, doing so despite missing two key players in their secondary, Pro-Bowl cornerback Devon Witherspoon and rookie safety Nick Emmanwori.

Witherspoon was sidelined by what Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald called an MCL bruise or contusion, a knee injury that caused him to miss practice last week, though Witherspoon was able to go through a pretty long pregame workout on Sunday.

Emmanwori, meanwhile, has a high ankle sprain that caused him to be ruled out of the game. Both players have a chance to return to practice this week, Macdonald said, and getting at least some practice in would be important, particularly for Emmanwori, if he's going to be able to play in Week 3.
