PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Black & Gold Nation) -- The Steelers fell in their home opener 31-17 in a game that was plagued by mistakes. In the game the Steelers managed just 267 yards of offense and turned the ball over two times.

The Seahawks got things going on the opening drive of the game going on an eight play 65 yard drive that was finished off on a 21 yard touchdown pass from Sam Darnold to Tory Horton. The Steelers would answer with a pair of 48 yard field goals from Chris Boswell in the first and trailed 7-6 heading to the second quarter.

Both teams struggled to move the ball in the second quarter, but the Steelers defense came up with a big play as the Seahawks went for it on 4th & 1 from the Pittsburgh 29 yard line and Nick Herbig came up with an interception and returned it 41 yards to
