KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Chiefs lost two key defensive players early on against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Starting defensive end Mike Danna left the game with a hip injury and cornerback Kristian Fulton suffered an ankle injury. Both were ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Those are huge losses for the Chiefs as the face a very talented Eagles offense and arguably the best offensive line in football.

Danna signed a contract extension with the Chiefs in 2024 and Fulton signed a two-year, $20 million deal with the Chiefs this offseason. Fulton also dealt with a knee injury during training camp.

The Chiefs will look to rookie DE Ashton Gillotte and CB Nohl Williams to fill the void during their absence.
