BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti made it through an opening statement and three questions before someone acknowledged the elephant in the room.

The question was longer but essentially boiled down to: Time for Illinois , isn’t it?

“I'm sure it will be electric,” Cignetti replied. “I'll think about it (Saturday). Tomorrow the coaches are off, players have trainer check-in. And we'll get back to it next week.”
