ST. LOUIS - Three people were left injured Sunday night after a shooting in north St. Louis.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), the shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. on the 2500 block of North Taylor Avenue, near St. Ferdinand Avenue, in the city's Ville neighborhood.

Three people were privately transported to a hospital after the shooting, police said. An adult man was listed in critical and unstable condition after the shooting, while the other two were listed to be in stable condition.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Police have not released information on any suspects or what may have led up to the shooting.
