Sultry September settles on the Crescent City, with high temps sticking around for a few more days. But that doesn't mean there's not plenty to enjoy. The month is only half over and some of the most festive times of the year are just around the corner.

Filmed here with local crew and talent, "SPINAL TAP II: THE END CONTINUES" will be screened Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Broad Theatre, 636 Broad St., with star Harry Shearer in attendance, followed by a conversation with journalist Keith Spera. The film reunites Sir Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Rob Reiner and Shearer in the mockumentary about the rock band.
