Football fans are calling out several NFL teams after they opted against holding pre-game tributes to Charlie Kirk, the American conservative activist who was shot and killed while speaking at a university last week.
During Sunday’s slate of games, the New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, and Dallas Cowboys each held a moment of silence for Kirk before their games kicked off.
However, the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings skipped any sort of tribute to Kirk, a 31-year-old father of two who was assassinated last Wednesday during an outdoor event at Utah Valley University .
