Daily Beast retracts story on Melania Trump and Epstein scandal

New York, NY – The Daily Beast has pulled a story that linked former First Lady Melania Trump to Jeffrey Epstein, acknowledging the article did not meet editorial standards.

The now-removed piece was based on an interview with author Michael Wolff and carried the headline, “Melania Trump ‘Very Involved’ in Epstein Scandal: Author.” Following publication, attorneys for Trump contacted the outlet, disputing the claims and pointing to her book Melania as the definitive record of her life.

In addition to scrubbing the article from its platforms, The Daily Beast confirmed it also deleted a portion of a related podcast episode titled “Trump’s Epstein Scandal Can’t Stop Won’t Stop,” which referenced the former First Lady.
