BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Gem State experienced a slight increase in gas prices this week.

Although Twin Falls saw a two-cent drop in gas this week to $3.44 a gallon, Lewiston and Coeur D’Alene experienced a 13-cent and 15-cent hike, respectively, according to AAA of Idaho. The average price of gas in Idaho is $3.51. This is five cents more than a week ago, but a penny less than a month ago, and seven cents less than a year ago.

The national average is $3.18 per gallon. This is about 2 cents less than it was both a week ago and a month ago, and just 3 cents less than it was a year ago.
