LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Governor Greg Abbott shared a post on X saying a Texas Tech student has been expelled for publicly celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death. Video of the incident has gone viral across social media.
The governor reposted the video, which we have not been able to verify, thanking the university for taking action.
Camryn Booker was arrested and charged with assault following the incident. She has since bonded out of jail.
Texas Tech confirmed Booker is no longer enrolled at the university.
