GLENDIVE — Glendive City Court officially went dark as the sun set over Glendive last week after Judge Kerry Burman and her clerk, Mary Alice York, issued a public resignation during the meeting of the Glendive City Council before walking out with an audience.

Burman and York — with Teresea Olson, Kari Keller, Tessa Hopper and Sean Allen in tow — used the public comment period of the council’s meeting to share kind words about each other and the citizens they served before announcing their resignations, effective immediately.
