On Sept. 17 and Sept. 18, the TWON will host three events for residents and well owners in Childress, Motley, Cottle, Hardeman, Foard, King, Donley, Collingsworth and Hall counties to have their well water screened.

Officials said water samples will be screened for contaminants, including total coliform bacteria, E. coli, nitrate-nitrogen and salinity. There will be a $15 fee per sample for the screenings.
