‘God Bless the USA’ singer Lee Greenwood is headed back to Alabama to unveil a new event space in Madison.

Greenwood is ushering in the Village Green in Clift Farms.

It’s a large green space with a stage designed to serve as a gathering place for the Madison County community.

“We designed this to be a space for connection and community events!” Clift Farms posted on Facebook. “You can enjoy picnics on the lawn, yoga in the park, food truck nights, farmers markets, you name it!”

The concert is free to the public.

The Grammy award-winning artist will be the first to perform at the new venue. In 2021 , the Von Braun Center’s Propst Arena held an all-star celebration concert honoring Greenwood.
