SPOKANE, Wash. — Local Union 302, the local operators' union that helps work on certain construction projects in the City of Spokane and Spokane County, is no longer on strike, according to WSDOT.
Local Union 302, which covers the entire District 5, including Spokane, Moses Lake and Pullman, has been on strike for the past month.
The strike halted three major construction projects, including the North Spokane Corridor, US 195 at Babbit Road and Highway 27 near Pullman and Highway 395 at Hafer Road near Chewelah. The strike also impacted projects in North Idaho.
While union members remained on strike, WSDOT said non-union members continued on other parts of the North-South Freeway construction project.
