An Armstrong-County woman is facing homicide charges after three dead babies were found in her former residence.

Jessica Mauthe, 39, of Ford City, has been charged with criminal homicide and abuse of a corpse, according to TribLive .

A criminal complaint states that Mauthe had been evicted from a property located along the 100 block of Oak Lane in Cadogan Township in August. Whiile the landlord was cleaning the residence they found a dead baby in a trash bag inside a closet.

Police were called to the scene and discovered two other dead infants, found in totes located in the attic.

Authorities said that during an interview with police, Mauthe said during an interview with police that she gave birth to all three children and put them in the locations where they were found.
