CEDAR FALLS – Everything that Northern Iowa head football coach Todd Stepsis saw on the field in the Panthers’ 17-14 win over Eastern Washington Saturday was reaffirmed after reviewing the film.

UNI dominated defensively, was explosive on offense, and then watched as self-inflicted errors made that game far closer than it should have been.

“The fourth quarter got a little dicey,” Stepsis said during his Monday press conference. “What’s interesting about our sport is you know, a win can feel really discombobulating, and that’s kind of how our staff felt.”
