BRUNSWICK, Ohio — New details are emerging about an Amber Alert that triggered a multi-state search Sunday night for a 7-year-old Brunswick boy who police say was abducted and abused by his mother.

According to Lt. Chris Spencer, with the Brunswick Police Department, an FBI office in North Carolina alerted the department about disturbing videos posted online.

The videos allegedly showed 32-year-old Tiarika Baymon abusing her son.

“They had evidence to include an Instagram video that she had bound him and had tortured him,” Ross Township Deputy Chief of Police Brian Kohlhepp said.
