COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A Columbia man has been convicted on 12 federal charges related to gun and drug trafficking offenses.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Monday that 42-year-old LaClarence Lamarcus Anderson was convicted following a two-day trial.

Prosecutors said evidence introduced during the trial showed that four different times over three weeks in 2024, Anderson sold drugs and guns that he could not legally possess, due to being a convicted felon.

He was previously convicted of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, armed robbery, burglary, possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted person, resisting arrest and the sale of an unlawful weapon.
