EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A suspect and a deputy were left injured following a high-speed chase in East Baton Rouge Parish.

According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, the chase happened late Friday night, September 12.

An East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office deputy observed the suspect, Tye Carlock, 26, going 112 miles per hour on a motorcycle on Siegen Lane, authorities said. They added that the deputy tried to conduct a traffic stop, but Carlock refused to stop and continued to go more than 100 miles per hour.

A chase began, which deputies terminated while still on Siegen Lane.
