Mike Vrabel is 50 years old, but he turned on the jets during Sunday’s game against the Dolphins when Antonio Gibson returned a punt for a touchdown in New England’s win over Miami .

Vrabel’s stride caught the attention of social media as well as his Patriots players.

“I’m more impressed he didn’t pull a hammy or something,” quarterback Drake Maye said on WEEI on Monday . “It was hot down there, could have started cramping. I thought it was pretty cool.

“I was watching it from a different angle. Once he got the edge out there, I knew he was gone,” he continued . “What a play. And it was funny to see coach running down (the sideline)."

Gibson joked that he needed to run faster if his 50-year-old coach can keep up with him, while Stefon Diggs said Vrabel was “slow as hell
