Chattanooga Mocs sophomore wide receiver AJ Little earned his first Southern Conference honor winning Week 3’s Special Teams Player of the Week.
Little had one of two returns for touchdown in the 63-0 win over Stetson. His 59-yard punt return made it a 14-0 score after two drives and took the air out early for the Hatters.
Little’s 59-yard first quarter punt return for touchdown is the first since Sept. 27, 2014. That was a 66-yard effort by Tommy Hudson in a win over Samford in Finley Stadium.
Little had three returns for 65 yards (22.7). Both are career highs.
