Sarnia will digitize pictures of past mayors currently hanging on a wall in city hall, and move copies of them elsewhere in the building, to make way for a new welcome mural.
The 5-4 vote came Monday after city council approved the mural project in 2024 , as part of ongoing efforts to advance aspects of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
