LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A 31-year-old Las Vegas motorcycle rider died after a wrong-way crash along State Route 160, according to the Nevada State police.
The crash happened on August 26, at around 12:01 a.m. along State Route 160, which is west of the Las Vegas valley.
Carlisle Yazzie, 31, of Las Vegas, was identified by police as the motorcycle rider who died at the scene of the crash, police said.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the motorcycle rider was traveling southbound in the wrong direction along State Route 160, according to the Nevada State police.
At the same time, the driver of a sedan was traveling northbound on State Route 160 in the far left travel lane when the motorcyclist struck the front of the sedan, ejecting him from the motorcycle, police said.
