The Washington Commanders said Monday that their star signal-caller could miss Week 3 with a knee injury.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a left knee injury in Thursday’s 27-18 loss at Green Bay, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Daniels was seen grimacing after a hip-drop tackle by Packers defensive lineman Kingsley Enagbare during a scramble with five minutes left in the fourth quarter. Enagbare did not receive the penalty on the play, but Daniels grabbed his left knee repeatedly.

Daniels was seen in the locker room after the game with an ice pack on his knee and had a noticeable limp as he left the building.

He underwent an MRI on Friday, which revealed no major damage, according to team sources.
