AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Alzheimer's Association announced the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's is on Sept. 20.

Officials with The Alzheimer’s Association said they are inviting residents of the Panhandle to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Sam Houston Park in Amarillo starting at 9 a.m.

“This is a pivotal moment in the fight against Alzheimer’s. There are now treatments that can change the course of the disease,” said Brooke Harlan, Co-Chair WALK to End Alzheimer’s, “We hope that everyone in our community can join us by starting a team to help the Alzheimer's Association raise awareness and funds for families facing the disease today, take more steps toward treatments and finally ending this disease.”
